Want to become a SNACK Master??

Join us for a night tour of drinking like a Sendai local down the neon street Kokubuncho!

Ready to become an Izakaya Master??

Join us for a night of eating and drinking like a Sendai local on the neon street Kokubuncho! Only around 8-10 customers can fit into most restaurants at a time, so it can be hard to walk into these places by yourself. Don't worry because on this tour you’ll be joined by a local guide! Our guide will introduce you to all the best places and help you with Japanese as you eat, drink and chat to the friendly locals.

On this tour you’ll enjoy a drink of your choice and chance to talk with Japanese ladies working at the SNACK, at 2 different styles of SNACK.

The most vibrant area in Sendai is characterized by neon signs, lively conversations and a warm atmosphere. Kokubuncho is basically divided into three areas. The first is the area where cheap stores and pachinko parlors gather. The second is the area where there are better restaurants and bars than the first, and there are traditional Japanese restaurants that are a little more expensive, and most of the customers are office workers. The last is the so-called pink zone, where there are bars where women serve customers, host clubs, hostess clubs, etc. In most cases, the entrance fee is a flat rate, and after the time has passed, the entrance fee will be charged again. Also, while you are in the store, you will be forced to order alcohol and food one after another, so if you go to this type of store, you need to be prepared for running over your budget (* Don’t worry about that for this tour!).

Explore the biggest night town area in Northeast Japan, Kokubuncho! Enjoy a walking tour through the alleyways, learning about the history of the area, and chatting with friendly Japanese staff in this fully-guided experience!
