JR Fruit Park Sendai Arahama opened exactly 10 years after the Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami. The new tourist spot hopes to revitalize the area with visitors by showcasing the skill of farmers and latest technology together with the natural beauty of the area. Please visit the nearby Arahama Elementary School ruins to not only learn more about the disaster, but also the rich history and culture of the area. The fruits park plans to offer picking and eating experiences featuring strawberries, apples, grapes, pears, figs, kiwis and gooseberries. There is also an onsite restaurant and direct sales shop facility.
*Reservations have priority. However, when there is room you may join on the day by signing up at the reception desk.
