"An unforgettable experience! Discover traditional Japanese culture right here in the old castle town of Sendai!” PROGRAM SERIES 2!

Did you know that you can find an example of elegant teahouse architecture at "Mogasakian," located behind Dainenji-yama Park in Taihaku Ward, Sendai City? In 1965, a building located on Jozenji-dori Avenue, which was originally built in the Meiji period, was relocated and repurposed as a teahouse in Dainenji-yama Park. Every month we host programs for visitors to experience traditional Japanese culture, Sendai culture, and tea ceremony at the historical "Mogasakian" teahouse!
