Upon arrival at the facility, the staff in charge will check you in and explain the program. After reception, staff will provide instructions about how to wear a lifejacket, as well as safety tips and SUP paddling techniques (approximately 10 minutes). As soon as the lecture is over, you will be able to start the experience.
[Notes] ① Please prepare shoes appropriate for use in the water and for hiking. Shoes should fix the heel firmly, so beach sandals are not appropriate. ② Wear the borrowed lifejacket properly at all times during the experience. ③ You may not be able to use the service depending on the weather conditions of the day, such as sea conditions like wind or a rough tide. ④ In recent years there have been great changes in climate and weather conditions. As we place top priority on the safety and security of our customers, there may be times when you are not able to do the activity or asked to stop during the activity, in which case we will suggest an alternative activity. Thank you for your understanding.
SUP stands for "Stand Up Paddleboard." When you stand up there is a sense of stability like a boat, and you can row with one paddle, so even beginners can row immediately. Even if there are no waves, you can stand up, so anyone from children to elderly can enjoy it. Usually you stand on the board, but in fact you can enjoy laying down or sitting also. The number of people doing the sport SUP has been increasing rapidly in recent years. In fact, the sport is a candidate to be added to the 2024 Paris Olympics, which follows the Tokyo Olympics. SUP is surfing that you can experience without swimming! Specialist staff will teach you SUP, so even beginners should have no worries about giving it a try.
