Tour of Traditional Dye Shops along Shigobori Canal (with Dyeing Experience)
The craftsmanship that supported the Sendai clan is still practiced today by some dyeing factories in the “Dying Town” of Sendai. Why not experience history by visiting the traditional factories and trying the dyeing experience for yourself?

Price
We will visit the Takeda Dyeing Factory, which has been in business for 300 years and manufactures products using traditional dyeing methods. While enjoying the view of Shichigobori Waterway, stop by to visit Aizen Myo, the “Love-Stained Wisdom King” deity, which gained the faith of some master dyers. In the dyeing experience, we will try dying traditional furoshiki cloths at the Nagakan Dying Factory. You also have the option to make a small bag or wallet.
