"Tanabata Friends" is an indie local mascot modeled after a streamer, one of the seven decorations at the Sendai Tanabata Festival, and it is said that good things will happen if you meet it. This is a niche experiential photography event where you can dress up in a "Tanabata Friends" costume and have your portrait taken by professional photographer Mitsuru Itabashi.
