Ceskoya Sendai

"Ceskoya" is the only pub in Japan operated by someone from the Czech Republic. It is also the only pub in the Tohoku region serving directly imported Czech beer and wine. This is a popular pub where locals and travelers can interact while drinking the world’s best beer at an affordable price. It was my dream to create a space where people can make new friends.

By the request of locals and travelers, I started Czech culture talks, and casual wine or beer tastings. You can pair the courses with homemade Czech cuisine. Of course you can also just come in to the bar to have a drink. Ceskoya is popular with Japanese people and expats, so it is a good place to interact with locals in English or Japanese.
