Play Mbira! (Mubira Hikouyo!)

We offer an experience for you to play a musical instrument called mbira. The mbira is a traditional instrument played by the Shona people of Zimbabwe. It is characterized by a beautiful tone like a water kettle or the sound of rain, and has such strong overtones that it sounds like a human voice singing. With its deep tone, it is said to have the effect of healing the mind and body of both those who play and those who listen to it.
