Tenshukaku-Shizen-koen Park

Tenshukaku-Shizen-koen Park is a leisure facility located inside “Akiu Onsen,” long famous for being a nature and relaxation retreat for Sendai’s citizens. There are Japanese gardens, day-use hot springs, restaurants, galleries and outdoor facilities where you can enjoy the seasonal nature of Akiu. In autumn, “Imonikai” potato stew parties and “Akiu Night Museum” (a nighttime autumn leaves illumination) events are also held. With advance reservations the facility is able to accommodate food diversity needs such as vegetarians which don’t eat meat and alcohol-free miso.
