Use paper from the last remaining Yanagiu Washi paper mill to make a collage candle. The candle is lit with an LED electric light.
The gentle texture of handmade Japanese paper with so much history, and the LED which glows like a candle, creates a unique souvenir. Yanagiu Washi paper is also perfect to create your own mini Tanabata decorations. This experience will be a great memory of your Sendai sightseeing trip!

Our historical shop inside the Sendai shopping arcades sells kokeshi dolls and various crafts from Miyagi and Tohoku. Some Sendai crafts and special items sold in our shop are not sold at any other store. Besides shopping, visitors can enjoy hands-on experiences such as kokeshi doll painting or making an LED candle.
