This is the second installment of the Chigiri-e series, a hands-on experience using Yagyu Washi, a traditional handmade Japanese paper in Sendai.

Anyone can easily create their own "Chigiri-e Kokeshi" by simply tearing off a piece of Japanese paper and attaching it to the "Kokeshi".

Kokeshi dolls and other handicrafts from Tohoku and Miyagi are available. In particular, there are many Sendai crafts and kokeshi goods sold only at Shimanuki. Please enjoy them along with the experience!
