Price
Experience RAKUGO, traditional Japanese comic stories, in English. Storyteller Chie is the Rakugo Champion of Japan’s E-1 Gran Prix, also known as the English Entertainment Championship. The stories include Japanese culture and local secrets. You may learn some histories and mysteries as well!
Rakugo performances are arranged by reservation and consultation. Chie performs mainly in Sendai, but is able to accommodate requests around Miyagi and in other prefectures as well. Please contact well in advance to set-up a private, public, or event performance. Chie can also include Rakugo stories as part of a guided tour.
According to your request, the show can be arranged from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours. The performer can switch between Japanese and English with no problem. She can even introduce local dialects in a funny way.
