【Sendai-Akiu Area SUP Tour】SUP Cruising in the Mountains
Beginners can safely participate as the dam means there are no waves on the water surface. Since there is a small group of just 2 to 4 SUPs, we will guide you according to your level, physical strength and pace.

Try a worry-free SUP cruising experience on a water surface without waves. Even beginners are able to stand on the SUP (stand-up paddle) board and move themselves with a paddle. If you are not confident, you can sit down and row. The higher the water level of the dam, the more upstream you can travel and view. This tour is a seasonal tour offered mid-April to mid-July, when the water surface is high. The best months are May and June, especially May! Don't miss it!

Change clothes, activity instruction and paddle practice on land (10 minutes).
SUP Tour (60 to 120 minutes, depending on water level and physical strength).

On some days the tour time can be changed. We recommend an early morning experience. At that time the wind is gentle and the air is fresh and crisp! In the early morning there are few people and we can have the bay to ourselves! Please request your desired start time. Participants 12 years and under must be accompanied by an adult and ride together on the same SUP board. In such a case, there is no charge for the child. (Children's life jackets can be borrowed free of charge.) If you are participating in a group of more than 5 people, please contact us.

| About suspension of the activity | The event will be canceled if there is strong wind, heavy rain, or a large swell along the coast. If we decide to cancel, we will contact you in advance. The decision to cancel may be made on the day when we meet as well, if there is a safety risk. In that case, the tour fee will not be charged, but we will not reimburse you for transportation expenses. |
