When the rice is ready to harvest in the autumn, the area around the rice fields are very lively with the grasshoppers, dragonflies, and many insects. Enjoy insect collecting in the nice weather then let's take a closer look to try and identify their species. Let's have an amazing day with the creatures of the rice fields!
-Schedule-
1. Activity introduction (yearly cycle of rice field, brief explanation about creatures, safety information)
2. Gathering small creatures from the rice paddies (outside)
3. Careful observation of creatures (indoors)
4. Reflection and debriefing.
