Choose your favorite shape from many Ogatsu stones, and freely draw your own original key chain! Ogatsu stones are famous in Japan as a material for making ink stones (for calligraphy), and are also used to make the roof tiles of Tokyo Station.

Create your own design to match the texture of stone, such as drawing scenes of Tohoku or the nature of the Sanriku coast. The keychain made of rare Miyagi stone makes for an ideal sightseeing memory or souvenir.

Our historical shop inside the Sendai shopping arcades sells kokeshi dolls and various crafts from Miyagi and Tohoku. Some Sendai crafts and special items sold in our shop are not sold at any other store. Besides shopping, visitors can enjoy hands-on experiences such as kokeshi doll painting or making an LED candle.
