Animal Petting Experience
Animals: rabbit, guinea pig, goat, sheep (cleaning and caring experiences also available)
You can directly touch the animals. For pettings experiences with groups of 30 or more, please consult in advance.
At Yagiyama Zoological Park Fujisaki no Mori, we have daily experiences with animals that have lived with people as livestock and pets. While interacting directly with animals and taking care of them, you can discover the characteristics of each animal's body and the similarities/differences with other animals.
Have fun and develop your desire for knowledge by thinking about how animals evolved and have adapted their behaviors, what the differences between animals and humans are, and how animals and humans influence each other through the human lifestyle.
If you listen to the explanations of the zookeeper, you can discover unexpected things such as the common features of goats and giraffes.

You can make a deeper relationship with the animals by understanding their abilities and knowing their behavior. Adults as well as children are welcome.
