"Iwanuma Sheep Village"-- Japan Overseas Cooperative Association (JOCA)

Since 6 November 2015, we have created "Iwanuma Sheep Village" on the disaster-stricken coast of Iwanuma City, Miyagi Prefecture. A sheep farm was created with local residents, and things like farms and dog runs were set up in the surrounding area. Here is a special place where people from across generations and various distances can come together to interact with each other while also not forgetting about the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami.
