One of the few hairdressers in Japan will professionally style your own hair in a traditional Japanese hairstyle. Come and experience the unique experience of seeing the tools and process of tying your hair using traditional techniques from the Edo period.

It is said that there are hundreds of different Japanese hairstyles, and the way a person's Japanese hairstyle was styled could reveal their age, status, and whether they were married or unmarried.
Women in the Edo period enjoyed fashion just as much as modern women do, but how were Japanese hairstyles styled in an era when there was no hairspray, wax, or hair tie that we use today?
We will recreate the ingenious techniques of the past in the Reiwa era!
We will style a Japanese hairstyle that suits the personality of each person, from children to wives.
We hope you will enjoy the experience of traveling back in time to the Edo period.

| Important notes regarding participation | ・Makeup is not included in the experience program. ・Please do not use any styling products on your hair on the day of the experience. ・When tying your hair up, Bintsuke oil will be on your entire hair. ・Before tying your hair, apply hair oil all over your hair. Please note that we do not have a shampoo stand, so please be aware that you will be left with hairdressing oil after the experience. (※Bintsuke oil can be removed with your regular shampoo) ・When you leave, it will be smoother if you bring a hair tie or barrette to tie your hair up. ・If you have super long hair that reaches down to your waist or above, you may be asked to have it cut beforehand. |
