Tabimusubi walking tours (not bus tours) have restarted accepting tour requests and applications. In order to prevent the risk of spreading the novel coronavirus, we ask all participants to wear face masks and allow us to check your temperature. On the day of the tour, a guide assistant will have hand sanitizer and incorporate social distancing measures, so please join without concern.

Although we will only walk an area of 2km surrounding Hon-Shiogama Station, there are plenty of shops related to drinking and eating we will visit. There are many well-established local shops with a long history, prospering thanks to their proximity to the shrine. Whether you love to drink alcohol or have a sweet tooth, you are sure to become a fan of some of the places we introduce on this Shiogama foodie tour.

On the tour you will be able to taste sake, hoya (sea pineapple), beer and sweets, and visit a chocolate specialty shop, cafes, and long-established stores.
