Price
Leave the big city to clear your mind in the beautiful Japanese countryside. Akiu area is close to downtown Sendai, less than one hour by bus or train from Sendai Station. We meet at Akiu Canada, a traditional Japanese inn/guest house owned by a freindly Canadian expat. In this session, you will learn what moxa is, how it is made, what meridian/acupuncture points, and other essential TCM terms such as Qi, Ketsu and Shin are. Afterwards, you will try self-moxa by yourself under my guidance. After self-moxa experience, you can enjoy a hot spring at the inn.
*For an additional fee, you can add an acupuncture/moxibustion/massage session.

| Important notes regarding participation | Up to 4 participants 18 years or older may participate. Participants should be able to stand some mild heat of moxa. Anyone diagnosed with diabetes cannot be accepted due to health risks. |
