You can observe colorful birds flying up close.
At Yagiyama Zoological Park Fujisaki no Mori, we hold daily free flight demonstrations at “Fureai no Oka” area with birds such as blue-winged macaws.
What is the bird’s body structure? How do they use their feathers? And why are the feathers vivid colors? The zookeeper will have the bird fly in front of the visitors while explaining the various birds. In addition, there is time to look carefully at each feather, so you can observe the structure of each wing.
During the zookeeper’s explanation, a bird will swoop down from the roof of the Fureai-kan building and fly right in front of you. Please enjoy not only the beauty and cute appearances, but also the amazing flying skills.

You can make a deeper relationship with the animals by understanding their abilities and knowing their behavior. Adults as well as children are welcome.
