Local "Hatto" Soup Making Experience in Tome City
“Hatto” is a regional cuisine made by adding water to wheat flour. Knead, stretch, and flatten the base ingredient before finally boiling it. We’ll enjoy “hatto” in its most common form by serving it in a freshly made soup. When we are finished, let’s all taste the hatto soup together! Soybean paste and hatto are included as a souvenir to bring home!

1. Knead the hatto dough.
2. Prepare the seasonal vegetables, soybean paste and other ingredients.
3. Boil the ingredients, add in the hatto.

About suspension of the activity | The experience may be cancelled if there are not enough materials able to be procured, equipment malfunction/failure, or natural disaster. We will contact you if it is decided that the experience will be canceled due to such circumstances. |
Important notes regarding participation | ● Bring an apron and triangular handkerchief or bandana. ● Clean the end of your nails and fingertips. ● Those under 10 years old must be accompanied by a guardian as there are parts of the session which will require assistance. ● In the case of another reservation or event, the experience may be held at the City Agriculture Exchange Hall. |
