Kimono "Wear & Walk" Tour with Traditional Dance Workshop

Wear a kimono and walk the old neighborhoods of the Date Clan, such as Funacho and Kawaramachi, to understand the deep culture and history. Then see and learn the dance of "Seichou Sansa Shigure," a folk song to celebrate the victory of Lord Masamune in battle.

① Change into a kimono. (Rental Kimono Ume Luv Aoba ward, Ichibancho neighborhood).
② Move to Omachi Sensei's training place (Kawaramachi, Wakabayashi ward) by car with the Ume Luv staff.
③ After watching the ( *)"Seichou Sansa Shigure" dance, learn and practice the dance (about one hour).
④ Walk around the former Date Clan castle town while wearing a kimono (visit the site of a former teahouse, former ryokan, former pharmacy, Ishibashiya traditional sweets shop, etc.). Time for taking photos and snacks are included. (about 1 hour)
⑤ After the experience, go sightseeing on your own and return your kimono to Ume Luv by 5:00 p.m.

(*) The "Seichou Sansa Shigure" dance matches the original folk song "Sansa Shigure", a song connected with the Sendai clan. Originally the song was written to celebrate the victory of Lord Masamune in battle.
