Our sommelier can uncork local wine produced in the Tohoku region for you to sample at our specialty shop. The tasting experience includes a set of red and white half-size bottles (2 wines total). The sommelier will explain the characteristics of Tohoku wines (in Japanese, or with an English explanation sheet).
You can take the excess wine “to-go” after the tasting experience. If you wish, we will give you a plastic wine glass, so you can enjoy the remaining wine at your accommodation or on the shinkansen train ride.
This simple tasting experience is about 10 minutes, so you can visit the shop without a reservation. Our shop stocks about 400 varieties of wine and about 200 varieties of whisky from all over the world, so this is also the perfect place to find a souvenir!
