Ganesh Co., Ltd. is a company that wholesales the highest quality Darjeeling and Assam teas selected through the tea tasting ourselves and purchased at tea auctions under the supervision of Tea Board India. These teas are sold nationwide in Japan under the brand name "Shincha no Koucha"®.

Stores carrying "Shincha no Koucha"® can be found all over Japan, from Hokkaido to Okinawa, but there is only one directly operated Ganesh store, located here in Sendai. At the Ganesh Tearoom on Jozenji-dori (Jozenji street), a symbolic road in Sendai lined with zelkova trees, we thoroughly teach how to make Ganesh's Assam Milk Tea.

Watch, make it yourself, enjoy the aroma, and savor the taste.
With small class sizes, we provide comprehensive instruction, ensuring you return home with the confidence to make delicious milk tea yourself!
A generous tea leaf souvenir is included.

Learn about what makes tea special, the differences of "Shincha no Koucha"® compared to other teas, the workings of tea auctions, the chai culture of tea-producing regions in India, and much more. We also showcase Ganesh's extensive photo collection.

Whether you are already interested in tea or have never found tea particularly delicious before, we guarantee a satisfying tea time that will make you exclaim, "Delicious!" from your heart.

Furthermore, the Ganesh Tearoom Jozenji-dori store is conveniently located for sightseeing in Sendai.
You can take a course in the morning before exploring the city, or take a course in the evening before returning to your hotel. It’s a flexible plan that can fit into various schedules.
Enjoy the tea culture originating from Sendai.

"I switched from being a coffee drinker to a tea lover after drinking Ganesh's milk tea!" This is a common sentiment from our customers about Ganesh's signature menu item. This milk tea is actually a drink that allows for efficient protein intake. In our course, we explain this with scientific evidence. For those who are not fond of cow's milk, it can be made with soy milk as a substitute.
