Rediscover the magic of Mother Nature at Kurikoma Kougen Nature School. Let’s play and learn in fields, forests, mountains and rivers. Appreciate the beauty of the four seasons in the areas around Mt. Kurikoma or Kitakami River.
Make a pizza from start to finish! First start by cutting firewood into short pieces with a saw then make a fire. Prepare the pizza dough and ingredients while the kiln heating up. Cut fresh vegetables collected from nearby fields to make toppings. Taste the amazing flavors created from handmade pizza made with fresh ingredients and cooked in a stone oven!

Kurikoma Kougen Nature School offers a variety of activities that combine cooking and outdoor experiences in Kurikoma Kogen (Kurikoma Plateau). There are also outdoor craft classes where participants can appreciate the nature of forests, mountains, and rivers throughout the four seasons.
